BOB DYLAN: o Nobel e a nova expressão poética.

Embora seu nome já fosse contado ao prêmio, Bob Dylan surpreendeu o universo da cultura ao receber (13 de out de 2016) o Nobel de Literatura “por criar novas expressões poéticas dentro da grande tradição da canção norte-americana”.

O autor de Tarântula (1971), O homem deu nome a todos os bichos (1973) e Crônicas – Volume 1 (2004) é hoje o único artista a ter vencido o Nobel, Pulitzer, Grammy, Oscar e Globo de Ouro. A rede de TV americana ABC sobre a vitória do cantor afirmou que “muitos especialistas o deixaram de fora das especulações, pensando que academia não estenderia seu prêmio centenário ao mundo da música. Eles estavam errados”.

Na premiação de Dylan há uma abertura para a oralidade na medida que se reconhece como premiado um gênero cancioneiro e um artista oral. Junto com isso vem o reconhecimento à revolução cultural da qual ele participou, sendo influenciado pela geração beat, principalmente nas figuras de Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac e Neal Cassady.

Diante das muitas críticas a sua premiação, houve até quem sugerisse a criação de um Nobel direcionado à música, por crerem que ele tem algo maior em sua melodia que nos seus poemas. Por outro lado afirmam que a robustez dos seus poemas é que gerou a nova expressão citada pela academia dentro do gênero canção norte-americano. O fato é que o prêmio veio, mas ele não seria necessário para imortalizar a sua obra, ela já havia feito isso por si mesma.
